Which software providers are listed for digital waste tracking?

GOV.UK publishes the list as Report receipt of waste: choose a software provider. When it was last checked, on 19 September 2026, it carried 121 provider and product rows. A provider appears on it once it has integrated with the Report receipt of waste service and been through DEFRA’s production approval tests.
That makes the list the right place to check a product before you buy it. It does not make it a shortlist. It is not ranked, it is not an endorsement, and it mixes commercial software with systems that waste operators built for their own sites and do not sell.
How to read it
- The count moves. The list roughly doubled over the summer of 2026. Treat any number, including the one above, as the figure on the day it was checked.
- Some rows carry an exemption note. Two products are marked “exempt for certain PAT scenarios”. GOV.UK does not publish which scenarios, and its own guidance is to ask the provider.
- Listed does not mean buyable. Several entries have no public product pages at all, because they are bespoke integrations or in-house builds.
